When Mark & Hanna took over the Cutty Sark Inn in 2017 they had always known that they were creating a space where pet lovers could bring their furry friends, due to Buddy their Bulldog being part of the team. Thus far mainly dogs, a few cats and “Peter” the rabbit have been guests. Happy to accommodate all pets as best they can , however, do check with them if your pet is a little more exotic, alas, elephants are already banned.
“our philosophy is straightforward, rooms, bar areas, restaurant and gardens are all open to pets, however we do ask that our guests are responsible owners as we know not everyone is a pet lover” said Hanna, Mark adding “we make no additional charge for pets to stay, however, we work with a local dog charity Last Chance Hotel and are happy to pass on any donations that guests are happy to make”.
Falmouth and Cornwall is a very dog-friendly area, some beaches remain open to dogs throughout the year, however from 1st October the main beaches are mostly accessible. There are plenty of walks, parks and gardens where you and your pouch can spend time together, check out Dog Friendly Cornwall for up to date information.
If you need to book a room then go to our bookings page and Hanna and Mark look forward to welcoming you to their traditional Inn.
