The Cutty Sark is a re-take on the traditional Inn, located at 4 Grove Place, the Cutty Sark, previously The Albion Hotel has been an Inn for over 200 years. believed to be built in 1810 for the Albion family, renamed the Cutty Sark in circa 1966 in remembrance of when its namesake was moored in the Fal estuary before being taken to Greenwich where it resides to this day.
With over 200 years of history the Cutty Sark has seen many changes in its time, but what remains a constant is it being a place to meet, eat, drink and sleep. In 2017 Mark and Hanna took over as the innkeepers, taking control in May while extensive refurbishment took place, opening in August for the Falmouth Week Festival. Having been somewhat run down they have an ongoing program of continual improvement to return the building to its former glory.
